Happiness is something that we all strive for, yet it can often seem elusive. Despite our best efforts we can often find ourselves stuck in unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviour cycles that hold us back from living the life that we want. In this post, I will give you an overview of what the happiness puzzle is, and how it has the power to change all of that easily and with surprisingly little effort.

There are three main components that form the foundation of the happiness puzzle, and these are positive psychology, psychology coaching and subconscious reconditioning. Individually each of these elements are phenomenally impactful at cultivating human flourishing, and when you put them together, they create an immensely powerful path towards lasting purposeful and positive behaviour change. It will bring you clarity, exponentially increase your wellbeing and ultimately enable you to take action and show up in your life the way you want to, without anything holding you back!

My name is Claire, and I am a psychology coach, positive psychology practitioner and a subconscious reconditioning facilitator. I have an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London and I am an accredited belief coding facilitator. I bring all the knowledge, experience, and practical tools of my trade to the happiness puzzle and work with you to create your own unique picture of happiness. What you gain in this space will enable you to not only identify and understand what you want and how to get it, but most importantly will enable you to truly apply it to your life.

Positive psychology is at the heart of the happiness puzzle and is a large part of the evidence base that underpins everything within this methodology. This field of psychology aims to understand the factors that contribute towards our wellbeing, and to develop interventions that promote positive outcomes and facilitate human flourishing. Some examples of the things this science explores are human emotions (all human emotions, not just the ‘’positive’’ ones), strengths, hope, optimism, resilience, meaning and purpose, to name just a few. This is quite simply a really beautiful foundation for us to build from. Find out more about positive psychology here.

Psychology coaching is a methodology that combines the principles of psychology and coaching to help you find clarity, develop understanding, and set foot on a path towards achieving your goals. Through a process of exploration and reflection we work together to gain insight into your thoughts, feelings, desires, and behaviours and develop strategies for enacting positive changes. Psychology coaching typically focuses on the present and the future and working towards your own personal solutions, and when this is combined with subconscious reconditioning, which explores your past experiences, creates a very holistic approach to transformation and healing. Subconscious reconditioning is where we get to the root cause of anything that is holding you back and recondition or re-route the neural pathways. This will enable you to create the behaviour change that you want and stick with it long term. Our subconscious mind is the source of our automatic and habitual behaviour, our thought patterns, and our beliefs. Working on our mindset alone is a long and challenging approach to behaviour change, and often it falters or fails entirely to keep us consistent. This is because trying to use our logical conscious brain to override the survival mechanisms within our subconscious, is like painting over a rusty fence. It might seem like it makes a difference for a short while, but the underlying issue is always going to resurface. Whereas working within the subconscious to override the unhelpful patterns within our subconscious is much more efficient and highly effective. Find out more about subconscious reconditioning here.

The happiness puzzle is a place where you can design the life that you want, alter your beliefs and behaviours from the root and put it into action whatever you need to make it all happen. Over time I will be adding small puzzle pieces to the website for anyone to access and engage with. These will range from bite sized educational pieces that have the potential to expand your understanding of positive psychology to positive psychological interventions that you can give a go yourself to see if they fit your own personal happiness puzzle. So, watch this space if you are interested. I also offer 1-1 sessions where we can dive deeply into building your own unique picture of happiness. find out more about the happiness puzzle coaching packages here.
